    • From the Ferdinand News: "Mrs. Emma Leinenbach, 76, died in the St. Joseph Hospital in Huntingburg at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, July 5 where she had been a patient for one week. She had been in failing health for six years and had both of her legs amputated several years ago. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 a.m. in St. Ferdinand Catholic church. Burial was in the church cemetery. She was a member of the Ferdinand Circle D. of I. . . She was born on Sept. 23, 1896, the daughter of Henry and Caroline Teppin Weyer of Ferdinand. She was united in marriage to Joseph E. Leinenbach on Jan. 30, 1917 at Ferdinand. Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Lohmeier of Evandale, O. and Mrs. Ralph Albert of Ferdinand; three sons, Renus, Reynold and Stanley of Ferdinand. Three sons and one daughter preceded her in death. Also surviving are three brothers, Hubert and Leo Weyer of Cincinnati and Edward Weyer of Ferdinand; one sister, Mrs. Carl Brucker of Westchester, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
